The University of Luxembourg will host a third (and very special) TEDx event in October 2020, in the context of TED’s COUNTDOWN initiative.
Countdown is a worldwide movement to find ways to shift, more rapidly, to a world with net zero greenhouse emissions and tackle the climate crisis.
We need to engage EVERYONE. Politicians. CEOs. Investors. Media influencers. Activists. Citizens all over the world, young and old. We all have a role to play. Including you.
We have a chance to avoid climate catastrophe if we can work together, from a solid scientific mindset, to answer these five giant questions:
Countdown’s goal is to identify compelling responses to all five questions. And to activate the solutions by connecting citizens directly with our business and political leaders.
We will be hosting 5 online evening sessions with talks and performances during the week of 12th-16th October 2020.
